You know the things. I'm in need of a pair of 2.5" ID helper springs. I know some folks pitch them (usually the maximum lows crowd) but I figured before I hand over my hard earned to a faceless ebay clearing house I would see if anyone here had some they didn't need.
Helpers are more expensive than main springs for some reason. Maybe they're harder to make?
Anyhow, if you do find some cheap coil over takeoffs, make sure they're really 2.5" and not a metric size. I know both V-Maxx and MaxPeeDingrods use metric sizes that won't help you here.
I do not have any spares, sorry.
I have a friend who runs Hughes Racing Chassis, and we use them on the late model. Talk to Brian.

I need them to be 2 to 4 inches long. I can adjust the perch.
The setup I have concocted is working well except for full droop.
I never found any cheap one. Good luck!
The ones I have here on the shelf are about 7.5"

Thanks for looking. Are they flat coils? Would they compress to 1"? 2whatvwould you want for them?
Mine are round. The would probably go down to 4 inches, not much more.

They are made with trapezoidal wire so that when the wire is curled into a spring shape, the cross section is rectangular.
I have no idea why I know that. Probably an article in SCC or something, although maybe GRM.
