Looking for a budget build. Challenge prices preferred. Will consider a functioning megasquirt if the price is right.
Also looking for a cheap quarter stick shifter.
Id be willing to travel a fair distance for the right deal on a 5.3 or 6.0 and a th400 with a trans brake.

I think we need a sloppy mechanics style sticky on how to build a turbo LS for challenge money. Like what ebay parts to use and which to avoid. I really think you should try the ebay sloppy stage 2 cam and let me know if it works.

I should probably donate the $400 aluminum 5.3 with the 799 heads to you. At least someone would have fun with it then.
I am trying to line up the rest of the potential future parts and tools for my cars before they shutdown PA again. Business is slow during January/February already can't imagine it being even slower with a shutdown.

If i dont find something decent at rod run ill roll the dice on that cam, given i have a proper spring.
I really want to buy that sloopy stag 2 cam but I've heard that some have bought them and they arrived as stock truck cams.
