Yes yes yes yes yes Porsche pack!!!
Downloaded it last night, promptly bough the 914, 951, Carrera RS, another 911 and an R3 911.
N Sperlo, I couldn't catch you either in Rivals. I didn't know you could adjust settings though. Time for another try!
Thinking about a vintage Trans-Am type event, running two classes at the same time. An over and an under class, pretty much. B class for the over cars, like the Camaro, Mustang, and Cuda, and C class for cars like the Porsche 911 and 914, 2002, 510, Alfa GTA, and Cortina.
By having two classes, I'm hoping everybody can have a race they feel competitive in. I also want the cars to have similar builds (same tire type, roll cage, full suspension, etc.) so that people don't have to spend time building their car differently for each track. It's gonna take a little time to figure out build specs, but I should have something up soon.
These car packs are really filling up my HD. I think its time for a bigger one.

Sounds good to me; I'll take a c-class something or other. Gonna start working on liveries since I won't need to work on setup.

I like the sound of this....already have a stable full of likely candidates too
Getting on now..lobby is F class pre-1991, with less than 100hp. Stock cars accepted, modified cars adored. I'm in a 510 with full cage & suspension, but not much motor. "Return to the glorious days of yesteryear..."
As always, damage on, line off, ABS & automatics allowed, and car restrictions may change once there's enough of us to decide upon something else..
Lobby is also "public", but the whole damage/line off thing seems to discard the poseurs pretty quickly. Call me a missionary, the ones that don't quit seem to ask the right questions about our sport...
EDIT: Trying to make races about 12mi. long. Less than half distance for an SCCA/NASA points race, but (IMO) about twice as long as the average Forza race.

You and your crazy races. I join the lobby, look in my garage and... nothing. I have have to back out and build a car, haha
Is there a "B-spec" class going on GRM right now? Couple of us are starting a mini championship soon. Going to see what cars we can use for our class and a good target for PI would be
As soon as my boss leaves, I am going to hop on Forza and start tweaking some B spec cars. Name the list of cars and modifications you are thinking. Are you gonna be on Forza there Mandypants?
The problem with Forza is, horsepower is KING, and light weight is Queen. Building two different makes and models in Forza to the same PI point produces two entirely different cars. It's much better to build cars that produce similar lap times.
I ran in a series in FM2, that used a "rewards" system. Take away Ten PI for a win, Four PI for second. Add them back at fifth and sixth, without going over your original PI starting point.
ooooohhhh, I like the idea of a pitstop in a certain range in the race.
I am trying to figure out why the hell the cars are at the top of B classing. Maybe because of tires? and stripping the car? The actual engines should be pretty stock except for the intake, exhaust, and maybe engine mapping.
I wonder if the kiddies on there realize that there is a difference between Forza's B classing and B-Spec classing.
I have a new FirstWorldProblem-- "I tuned my RWD cars to handle too well - I can't drift without constantly hitting the E-Brake."
I am starting off with Sport Suspension, cage, gutted, Sport Brakes, full race sways, race diff, race compound tires, 15 inch wheels. Haven't ventured into engine modding yet. Sitting at C Class PI right now.

I'll run my `59 Cadillac...
Hah.... Thanks Eden. I think we need a first world problem thread.
I didn't want the FM4 logo down in the bottom right corner where the car was.
