It takes a LOT to get the Bug off of it's initial PI.
Xceler8x wrote: Ok. Who's bought the Bug? How can you you hop it up? Report!
I bought it, swapped in the Golf R engine, and threw every part at it besides a lot of the engine work, and have it sitting at the edge of A600. I wanna go back tonight and play with the original engine. I may do the Awd conversion with the Golf R engine.
I always use the road course at Sunset Peninsula as my baseline, and the stock bug laps it around 2:45.00.
Thanks for the updates guys. Good to see you can move the Bug up to A level.
I like a previous poster's idea for an aircooled spec series.
Need some help from y'all. Trying to duplicate my IRL car in Forza. Got the wheels, gonna have to custom make the MNMazda stickers, NBD. HOWEVER- I do not have the GRM Forza sticker, and I neeeeeeed it. How do I acquire such a thing?

Go to the storefront, there's a menu bar for "Buy Vinyl Groups" (IIRC). Then hit Search, pop the X-button to enter text and type Grassroots. They should all show up.
mndsm wrote: AH HA. That explains much. I was trying to do it through the paint editor. Thank you sir!
Yeah, if you're not going to make it yourself (possible, after all..the storefront owner actually took the time to make it in the first place! ), the only stuff available is some of the manufacturer logos over in the decal menu. Which, IIRC..actually has less in it than there was in FM3. Crazy days, I could have sworn that a lot of companies used to consider that kind of stuff as "free advertising", rather than trying to extort rights fees for that stuff.
BTW: If you're from SEDIV SCCA, I've got the Atlanta, Buccaneer, and NCR Region logos available on my own storefront. If you run NASA, there's some folks that have their "required" stickers as well.
I've got Peter Hylton's old book with all the Region Logos in it (helps to have a picture if you're trying to make a Forza vinyl group), if you'd like for me to try to do your own Region's logo, gimme a yell.

Never run SCCA or NASA.... but that reminds me, I need to put my auto-x numbers on it.
You know, in the spirit of GRM having a Volt for a project car, I think we should start up a hybrid racing series on Forza. Volt, Prius, and Leaf... C class?

I keep saying I'm not going to blow 360 bucks for one game, but damn they aren't making it easy for me. Please tell me you can't ecoboost the '40 Shine Special.
Grizz wrote: Please tell me you can't ecoboost the '40 Shine Special.
I don't think you can ecoboost it, but you can put a stock car V8 in it.
Grizz wrote: Meh, that's boring. Can you turbo the stock motor I wonder?
Not sure about the turdblow...but you can supercharge the stock flatty
In reply to RoadRaceDart :
Good enough for me.
I discovered in F2 & 3 that putting stock car engines in stuff never makes them better.
There is going to be free DLC this Friday. The 2013 SRT Viper, which will have an Autovista space as well.

I agree. Sounds kinda cool, but all it does is make the car almost undriveable.

Saturn 5 booster in an oxcart....goes like hell in a straight line, just avoid corners LOL!
There's a free DLC available right now in the Marketplace. It's the 2013 SRT Viper, and it has an AutoVista mode as well.
July car pack announced.
2011 McLaren 59 GT MP4-12C GT3
'73 Grrrrremlin
2012 Ascari KZ1R
'89 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V600
'52 Hudson Hornet
'54 Jag XK120
'56 Lotus Eleven
'12 Merc SLK55 AMG
'95 Ruf CTR2
'12 Spyker C8 Aileron
I wonder how long it will take for the FRS/BRZ/GT86 to end up in a DLC pack. Honestly I'm surprised it's not in there yet given the hype surrounding it...
In reply to thestig99:
Apparently GT5 has the exclusive rights to it for awhile.
I'm super excited for the Gremlin though!!!
