I'm officially out. Too many distractions in the room where the Xbox lives and moving it is not an option. I was on last night and between SWMBO insistance that we chat while I play "my game" and the cat jumping on the tv stand, I gave up after totalling a car on the first lap of Infineon (which I enjoy playing).
This Tuesday night is Sears Point! Build you a car, and come on out!
Here's the link to the build thread.

Laguna Seca coming up this Tuesday night! Have you built your car yet?
I'll be on tonight, for anyone that wants to practice.
Decent turn out for last nights race from Laguna Seca, with Reclaiming Dawn, SteamedMite305, and Lancer007 coming out for their first runs in the Classic Trans-Am series!
After five laps of qualifying, racerfink was on Pole, followed by Cheeto23, Reclaiming Dawn, and friedgrncorrado, all three within the 1:39 range, with Lancer007 and SteamedMite305 closely behind.
At the start, racerfink held off a strong start by Cheeto23, just managing to hold a fender length on him into the braking zone for turn one. But going into the corkscrew, racerfink trusted his brakes and cold tires too much, and slid wide into the sand. That allowed Cheeto23 into the lead, with racerfink falling in behind (I neglected to save the race, so I can only tell you what happened in the near vicinity of my car, unfortunately). A few laps later, Cheeto23 went wide at the kink, and allowed racerfink back through to the lead. The racing was pretty good all throughout the pack, although friedgrncorrado's car took a little damage before the green even flew.

We'll be on tonight if anyone wants to do some practicing for Road America next week!
I'll try to join this one.
The final round at Road America is this Tuesday night! Build a car and come on out!
Final Round? This week is TORA's Touring Car final round. I was hoping to give TA a shot next week. Oh well.
Small turnout for tonights race. Just myself, Cheeto23, friedgrncorrado, and SteamedMite305 took on the 4.05 miles of Road America.
With so few cars, qualifying was uneventful, with my Dan Gurney Cougar on pole at a 2:33.091. Following close behind were Cheeto23, friedgrncorrado, and SteamedMite305.
At the start, I got away clean, as things sorted themselves quickly into single file racing. Trying to push too hard too early caused me to run wide on a few corners in a row. Cheeto23 made the most of it, and took over the lead halfway through the opening lap. I gave chase, eventually getting by at the end of the 2nd lap, as Cheeto23 ran wide at T14.
Fried had a few bumps with the outside wall in the kink, but that turned out to be the least of his problems. His router and/or internet service dropped him about six laps in. Steamed was keeping him honest up to that point, though.
Finishing order
1st racerfink
2nd Cheeto23
3rd SteamedMite305
4th friedgrncorrado
