Took a stock 91 NSX from my garage, added race suspension and diff, sport hard tires. Stock wheels, GT6 is currently glitched in that if you add aftermarket wheels to a car with staggered width wheels, it makes wheels the same width as the oem front wheels at all 4 corners. I hope they patch this very soon.
This was my baseline tune which I am pretty happy with right out of the box. probably needs tweaking as you add more tire and more hp
Ride height - 80/85
Springrate - 8.7/12.8
Dampers - 3/4, 5/5
ARB - 5/4
Camber - 1.0/0.5
Toe - 0.0/0.2
Brakes - 6/5
Diff - 10/35/30

The Mazda RX500 is an absolute peach at 500PP.

agreed, I love that car. I think the rear end and interior are kinda dumb looking, but i wouldn't mind having a real one in my garage ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)

I'll give it a shot. I made a 500pp '99 Type-S Zero that was a joy in a straight line, but I couldn't get the damn thing to settle down enough on corner exits. I typically remove as much rear toe as I can and add some toe in up front in the -0.15 range. Camber usually in the -2F/-1.5R range. I'm still pretty used to setting up cars in Forza so my settings might be WAY off. May have been the aftermarket wheels. Oh well, my Opera S2000 slaughters it anyway; just screwing around on Tsukuba it clocks very low 1:00 times.
I would like to invite everyone with Rufledt (monkey boy) as a friend to take a look at the BMW M3 Seasonal Challenge leader board...

? is that the M4 coupe one at the nurburgring?
For that one I checked the top times and found they all used the skid-recovery force so I turned it on to see what it did. a couple of laps and the time kept dropping. I probably could've done it faster but I got bored since the skid recovery thing kills all the drama. I wish I could delete the time and just do a no-assist time again. i kinda wish they could have a 'no assists' leaderboard, those things are cheat-tacular.
Oh, OK, I remember you mentioning something about that.
Your time is so stinkin' fast (like 3 seconds faster then everyone else) your ghost "trace" doesn't even show in my races! (Maybe that is a nod to the SFR "cheat")
Just sound like a challenge to beat it with no aids! Haha. I hate that it doesn't filter results with/without aids.

you can try ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/evil-18.png)
It's probably possible, I don't know that track very well and I never had a lap without some kind of screw up.

I was getting pretty torqued how my other friends who are no where near as good as me are keeping up/beating my times. Then I found out they used the magic johnson's. No thanks. I'll keep my hiv-free times.
I hate the Ring F1 track with a passion, too. Definitely a purpose-built F1 track. As anything without huge speed and downforce is absolutely no fun on it.
Had a blast with my 12 year old tonight playing the seasonal Alfa hatch time trial. We took turns with the wheel. Whenever one of us bested the other's time, we'd switch. We ended up switching about six or seven times and shaving over 3 seconds off our early evening best time. Sadly, bedtime came while he was leading. Therefore, I must pay the official penance for losing at GT (clears throat) - "My son is the Stig, My son is the Stig. My son is the Stig."
(This must normally be loudly announced three times from the front porch, but the neighbors are sleeping, so I guess this counts as my public proclamation.)

How do I shut off the aids? It is not as obvious that they are on. They are cheat tastic as I can keep up with spy with them on.. that would not be normal.

OK found it.. reran without the special Olympics mode on. ~2sec slower. Much harder. Would have been a low 2:15 on the m4 online race.
Played a little more last night. I got an AW11 mr2 and it actually feels like a mid engine car now! Lots of lift off oversteer.
I think someone mentioned it a couple days a go but would there be an interest in GRM weekly time attack challenges? Certain restrictions each week on a set track, post a photo of your time. Honor system basically, im pretty sure we arent cheating scumbags here. I've had it work out well on other forums if participation is good, just run some hot laps when you have time.
In reply to failboat:
If everyone on here "friends" each other, don't you sort of have that with the "official" seasonal events? My son and I spent most of last night trying to beat another GRMer's time in the seasonal Alfa hatch hotlap challenge. There's no need for screenshots as it gives you everyone else's times. No corner cutting allowed either.
As a side bonus, there's a decent cash flow from it too.
In reply to kazoospec:
I was just about to suggest that those events do all the work and regulating for you haha.
Just about through all the super races. Night time rain racing is fun.
In reply to kazoospec:
You do, as far as I can tell those are the only leaderboards GT6 has, and the license tests I think? Once you get gold though I think the cash flow is done.
Speaking of seasonals, I wanted to throw E36 M3 at the tv trying to gold the Mario Andretti one. haha.

Yes, that Andretti car is a pig. Takes a bit of effort to gold that challenge.
In reply to Argo1:
Funny, that one was easier for me than the M4 one. I just had to learn the tracks which take me forever.
I spy monkey boy using aids on the liscense tests....... ()
