Just couldn't get a handle on this one. As a slow learner, I tend to pick up a few seconds as I practice and get laps in. For this track, I ran a 1:46 on about my third lap of practice, and just never got any faster, despite playing with setup, shift points, braking points, etc. Usually I run my fastest lap late in the second race, but I was mired in the same times all the way through.
Ah, well. On to next week!

Seems Monza didn't favor the alfa 33. Spa should be interesting though.
In reply to Tom_Spangler (Forum Supporter) :
Yeah, don't worry about it.... Monza is a deceptively difficult track, and the Alfa's strengths weren't much use there.
In reply to Rodan :
I did a bad job explaining that monza is difficult even though it seems easy, on stream lol
We had some really good racing last night. Dean and I had a great battle in the first race. I ran some of my best times in the 2nd race, but just couldn't run down Air and Dean in the Bizzarinis...
Sorry Moto about the bump early in the 2nd race... I dropped a wheel in the grass and it spit me back on and right into you.
That was some close racing last night. I had some great battles with severial people as well as a little luck getting through the traffic. There should be some great replays!!!
The season is winding down. If there is a car or a class of cars people want to try we should start putting test cars in to the google drive for all of us to look at.
Since we have been racing "different" cars the last couple races a request has been made to go back to more "normal" race cars. So with that in mind lets see what you all can come up with.
I am thinking we should look at the Aus V8 super cars. We have not done them yet.
There is always gt3, gt4, gte We have done all of these but they were all good series.
Then ther eare open wheel cars. I have some indy cars we could try but they are a bit crazy and I dont think they have TC or ABS stock.
Anyway let see what you all come up with. I dont mind a single make series.
V8 supercars sound fun... GT3/4 would be OK with me. We did GT4 just about a year ago, so maybe GT3 if we go that route. Or the Japanese GT cars from the 90s...
It's been vintage or 'street' cars for a while... it would be nice to have a modernish 'real' race car for a series.
Just my $.02.
I think the 90s Japanese GTs would be cool, but I'll go along with whatever the more experienced folks think is best.

I know I said this in the discord server already, But mini series with the GPSimsports news van?
In reply to 09Unwound :
I think we are pretty much planning on that already. The van... will probably be a bit "tuned up" though...
In reply to aircooled :
Thats really great lol, I hope we do that. Tuned up? maybe even "two of the big ones"
Have we done BMW M1's? I know they weren't competitive in the class they raced in but I think that would make a great single model series.
A one make M1 Procar series would be fun. Also is that camaro mod car close to being done? We could do a one make series with that one. Either of those two options would get my vote.
Hmmm... yeah, I think we only picked tracks for 8 weeks, which would make last week the last one. Seems like we need to go to 10. We will need two more tracks.... Deathgarden... uhm, I mean Bermgarten is still on the table...
... did I mention it has a jump? (sort of)
BTW, not a big mystery who will win this season. Even if we convinced Sauce the season was over and he did not show up for the next 2 races (assuming we do them), and Rodan won both those races (Sauce has two drops available, both 7th place) it would be a tie!
I have done my best to stay on top of the race planning in this post, however its like herding berkeleying cats.
This is a 10 race series. Tonight is race 9 @ Spa. The track for race 10 is TBD still.
