GT6 Time Trial Series - Event 1

I think if the planets align, a 37 flat is possible. On that best lap of mine, my ghost was ahead by a tenth at the first split, but I couldn't recreate that sector.

It may be possible. I didn't touch the brake bias, so that could help. And I'll try it again without the scotch

Thanks man! Definitely tough, but there's still some time on the table for you. Comp was right though, 36's are possible but not easy.

Also, I realized that I had a bit of dyslexia when posting my first time, you were actually only ahead by 0.007

i don't know when I'll get a chance to try again before we move on to another track though. Playing with the brake bias may help too as I was getting some understeer at T1 (literally the only place I touch the brakes lol).

Interesting. We must be running the course a bit differently then as I touch the brakes a couple others times, though it's usually just a light brush.

I can get away with just lifting everywhere else. It's very hard to do it at the chicane before the first tunnel. Get it wrong and you're in the grass with a red timer lol

Wait I am only 1.5 seconds off Matt I need to go back and see if I can get a bit more off that time and I will take a photo this time.

If I can beet spool at this I will be happy!!!

I'll spill the beans on my fast lap:

1. Late apex the first corner! Diving into the apex feels quicker, but it struggles to get up the hill. A very late apex lets you get a strong run up the hill and shaves a couple tenths. It took me about 20 laps to figure that out.

2. You absolutely MUST get the last corner right leading into your fast lap and at the end of your fast lap. If you get it right you should be at 94-95mph through that corner. Any slower and you will not break out of the 37s.

Knowing how to do it actually doing it are where I seem to have issues.

Next time I'll record the replay from inside the car (you can do that on the arcade mode replays) so you can see the inputs and such. I meant to do that with this challenge but had a brain fart and backed out before I saved the replay. Whoops.

Events are open for 2 weeks. This one closes on Monday at 9pm EST.

Did a few runs last night and wasn't even able to get into the 1:38's... fastest was a 1:39.515

I'll take some more attempts before this closes (hopefully)

Technically probably yes but hay go for it id you want. I may run a couple laps as my times were not that great.
