GT6 Time Trial Series - Event 3

Matt, I've got a challenge for you. See if you can do a back flip at any location in GT6 land. Any car can be used, anything goes. My best is approx. 90 degrees with the Red Bull X2014 @ the jump @ Cape Ring Periphery. IDK. the thought occurred to me when I was playing with the Audi Quattro Pikes Peak car. It only went to about 55 degrees.

I experimented with full rear wing, no front wing and full rear ballast. It did about the same as with a balanced car.

I am sure I can get to the low 11's high 10's I wanted to get some laps in for Wednesday so I stopped after 11-12 laps. I kept over driving the section in to the tunnel and in to the sweeper. that leads to the down hill.

This car is a lot of fun would make a really good SSS car Matt.

Grae, I kinda like it. Not necessarily a time trial thing, but could be some bonus points.

Dean, you are probably losing some time in the last section and the T1-T2 complex. The last turn into the tunnel is very important and the hardest to get right. For me, that either makes or breaks the lap both ways, either starting or finishing.

I'll have to try that with my wheelie car. It'll go up on its back bumper on flat ground, so a back flip may be possible.

I know you can easily roll a car in "test drive" mode. The Red Bull car looked like it might have been stopped from getting spectacular by the AI. It went vertical and landed on the tail. I took the "Vision Chaparral" to Trial Mt. and gave it a shot by shortcutting the last turn and catching that bank on the rt. It got spectacular really quick but then did something I've never seen, it got slammed back on it's wheels and at a dead stop. I suspect that the AI won't allow a back flip.

I stood my GTR on it's nose at the Daytona RC. It was wedged between the guard rail and a protrusion on the rt. at T1. It stayed that way for a long time then slowly fell back to it's wheels.

IDK, just what happens to a person who isn't doing series but logs on most days to keep the bonus up to 200%.

Impressive!

I put the max tune GTR I have on its nose running Midfield Raceway revers coming over the hill in to the tunnel. Just tap the brakes at the right moment and it gets really crazy really fast. I think I also have done it with the vets when we were messing around there in the mid season brake.
