So, my 10+ year old, Xbox 360 era Fanatec Porsche GT3 wheel is dying. I've got some Clubsport pedals that are a little younger and holding up great. I know direct drive is the big thing. I'm looking to support Forza Motorsport 7, Assetto Corsa and the upcoming Forza Motorsport on PC.
Suggestions? Should I stick with Fanatec or look at some of the other options out there? And is shopping for the wheel separate these days?
The Fanatec CSL DD is a great midrange wheel and you already have the Clubsport pedals
. I'm in the Thrustmaster eco system and if/when my T300 dies I'll go with the new Thrustmaster direct drive as yes, wheel shopping is a thing and I don't want my 310 Sparco wheel I bought go to waste. If you go with either of those two manufacturers your wheel of choice will need to come from their offerings.
