Half way between skyrim and borderlands is Destiny. Just got it yesterday and it is the most interesting take on an MMORPG that I have ever seen. Available on both versions of the PS and Xbox.

Recently picked up Infamous and Diablo 3. Having a ton of fun killing all of the things and collecting all of the loot in Diablo, though the game reaffirms that I have quite the hoarding problem in games.

Is Destiny online play only or is there single player campaign?
This is an oldie but if you haven't played Red Dead Redemption, then it's definitely a worthwhile playthrough or two.
I liked Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Uncharted (all 3) and I also like the Assassin's Creed games.
Driver: San Francisco is fun and should be pretty cheap these days. The main gameplay feature, being able to switch the car you're in on the fly, seems pretty gimmicky, but ends up being fun.
Decent GTA-ish handling and a decent variety of cars.
