Got my license a few years ago. Bought a bike. Decided it wasn't for me.
I have a virtually new helmet. Bought it last year, rode about a dozen times. That's it. It's nothing fancy, a full-face job from the house brand at Cycle Gear.
I think maybe the best thing to do with it is give it to MSF for use at rider training.
Will they accept it?
I believe MSF requires riders to bring their own helmets. IRCC they teach not using borrowed/shared helmets as you don't know the drop history
Locally they provide helmets if you don't have one. So a donated helmet might be accepted. Don't know anything more about them than you learn from going through the course.
