It's a little to late to ask the question, since I traded my Vstrom 1000 for it yesterday, but what is the opinion on these?
Good bike. My BiL has had a couple of them, so I've done a few miles on one. My only complaint was a lack of a 6th gear, which made it a little buzzy at interstate speeds. Compared to the VStrom 1k, it will be a little more work in the tight stuff and at low speeds, but much better airflow management and much more relaxed at higher speeds.
