Perfect time to buy, but I am not seeing much available to purchase.... Just want a "decent fixer upper" 600 sportbike for the wife.

Not mine.. went riding a couple different time today.
my excuse? it was 62 and sunny here in W. Michigan
Mine got put away today. Didn't really want to but it was sitting in the "working" half of my garage bays and I had to get them cleared out for winter projects. So over to the storage side it went to keep the Wartburg and VW thing company. Unfortunately the only way to tetris everything in there means the bike is buried behind the VW for the winter.
Did a 22 miler yesterday. I think when I came back it was about 38 out. Unless its windy tomorrow, I'll be out again.
I rode about 80 miles yesterday, just to clean the cobwebs out. Gonna be time to put her on the tender pretty soon though, if the temps keep dropping. I'll probably ride to work again today though. And tomorrow. And through the next couple weeks until it snows again.
Riding mine today. Rode to work. Rode to lunch. Plan to leave soon and ride until I feel like stopping.
I put mine up Sunday. Full tank of gas and Stabil. That reminds me, I forgot to empty the carb on mine. I'll do that tonight.
I actually don't have one to put away this season. I am officially between bikes. I almost bought an FJ on impulse just to ride a few weeks and flip but a lathe and tooling came home instead.
It was mid-60s ad sunny today and I was trying to figure out how to ride a lathe. Spent the rest of the day scrounging for something to sell for bike cash and scouring craigslist.

ahhh....the Harley riders have to protect all their pretty chrome
I've just put my main bike away for the season - there's snow on the ground at work, which is kind of a sign.

I'd wager Dr Hess has more than that.
I'm over 10k for the season on my Harleys (traded the Dyna Super Glide for a Road Glide Ultra in June), with a few weeks of riding left, yet.
Went for a 100 mile ride through the few twisties Florida's horse country has to offer... beautiful, perfect weather for it.
I won't put the bike away; I need it for commuting to school all year. I should break down and buy the jacket liner, though.
I'm holding out hope that I'll have another few good rides this month and in December. Everything ices up in Kansas City in January, so I'll probably winterize then.
30 for the am ride to work, near 70 some afternoons for the ride home. Makes for I treating times. Sadly, my parents near Detroit had temps of 55 this morning, 25 higher than here in VA. The bike will get covered for the couple of days we see snow, but that is all. Info snow, I will ride all winter. No heated gear, but wind and waterproof, as well as layers. Oh, and around 15,000 this year.

Well, I have > 100K miles on 2 wheels. Just checking to see if I have to take E36 M3 from you. I see the answer is NO.
