So i got this rad little honda/ trac DH100 which is basically a CL90 knock off made by trac. It has a horizontal honda clone 4 stroke manual motor. This motor/ similar motors are on everything from monkey bikes to pit bikes to honda cubs and 4 wheelers.
What I am looking for is a rebuild guide and good parts source.
I would like to get a new piston/ rings but I want to make sure I get the right one. Also interested in a CDI.
It would also be rad if any one knew of a link to some old school tricks like porting etc. to get a bit more power.
Check out the Chinariders forum. They should be able to help you out.

I'm in the midst of a xr100 / 120 build myself right now.
Oh as for CDI I've been trying to modifiy a $30 internal rotor kit from E-bay to fit my 100 but turns out it is junk...Ended up making a shft to hold the rotor and spun it in the drill press even at 3000rpm the spark is so weak it will not fire a timming light and is barley visable with lights in the garage off... Seller was of no help will not send a new one so becarfull out there.

I'm looking at the BBR 120 kit for my own XR 100 build. Is it a decent kit despite the low price? I'm on the fence as far as the points go. Some say there's no difference, some say it's night and day.
Well BBR is one of the crappiest ones out there but that what I'm using.
I scored the full kit on e-bay with cam spring and rockers.
I was going to sleeve my stock Cly to take a 58mm piston but cost of the sleeve i got there kit with new big sleeve Cly and all the other goodies. I'm not using there piston I'm modifying a kaw 550 piston for max comp ratio.
There cam is not great but slightly better then stock.
They don't even care what the intake center line is...no cam card no data at all. Call them you get no real answer just put it in straight up...WTH...
So now there not good but are cheap...
Takegawa is the best but high $$ but Yoshi has the 107 takegawa kit for $118. in sale section! had i seen that 1st id be boring that cyl for the 550 piston
