Very rare and fun bike in great shape. It is a 49cc (50cc) "motorcycle", but it is much more like a scooter or a moped. Only imported to the United States for one year, but parts are readily available. It comes with the very rare luggage rack accessory. No modifications have been done to the motor or gear box. Tiny bit of surface rust on the frame, showing its age, but otherwise in great shape. Currently has 2243 miles, but I use it from time to time because it is amazing on gas. Asking 1200 or best reasonable offer.

He's not kidding about that rack being rare. They only sold about 200 of them.
If the rust isn't too bad, its probably worth it.
That MB5 has been tempting me for days now. There's just no room to fit another toy though.
This guy in Seattle put a fairing on one, just guessing that's not from the Honda accessory catalog...

Just curious how you determined that.
They sold about 2000 MB5s in the US, and only about 10% had the rack. Its just rumor going around MB5 communities. The racks sell for between 75 and 120 when you can find them.
That's pretty inexpensive for a nice rack really, especially something so rare. I remember a rare trim bit for my old Mk1 CRX was a reflective red panel that fit in between the tail lights. That little bit of plastic was going for about $400 on ebay about 10 years ago.
Did E-bay exist 10 years ago?
eBay not only existed, but it was going like gangbusters already at that point.

Feel old: 10 years ago was 2001!
And at that point eBay had been around for at least 5 years.
I think 2001 ish was when I finally got internet, and it was AOL dial up...
