I am thinking about a moped, and there happens to be one for sale near me.
Does anyone know what this model is? And is this model worth doing things to?
They should be pretty dead simple to work on right? The ad says "49cc motor Not running needs new points"
List price is $300, is that fair?
No idea but I've got a pipe for it..well you need to weld some...

It's not as much a buyers market when no one is selling. I think this is the second pedal moped I've seen for sale. Though I only start looking within the past two months
I think that might be an old Jawa, which was made in Czechoslovakia years ago. It's incomplete, and good luck at finding any parts for it.
Free is a little expensive for a Jawa. Especially an incomplete one.
Willing to go to western MD?
I'll sell you a moped (or two). (early 00's tomos targa LX's)
Won't be a steal, but we can negoatiate a fair price. (meaning, I don't solidly know what they are worth and we can work together to arrive at a price. I could use the money more than having two mopeds)
Turns out it is a Italvelo.
Additional info is that
Piston was put in upside down. does turn over And did run Has aftermarket carburetor Also have the original carburetor and twist throttle cable and didnt have a head light when I got it does have original exhaust and chrome fenders and rims am not sure of the year.
Im guessing this is still something to walk from. What I was wanting to do is make a sort of little cafe moped. Add a top tube, relocate the tank, change the seat and handle parts.
