I bought my Sabre new in '84. The only problem I've had with it (other than issues I have caused,) is the R/R. I'm on the fourth one in 66K miles.
The MOSFET units appear to last forever due to better design but the prices are all over the place.
My research shows that the only real difference between them is the mounting. Is this correct?
I really don't want to spent $180 on a model specific unit when I can get one for $60 and have to fab a bracket. (I have plenty of space.)
