Here is the short of it:
I am embarking on a cross country ride on my motorcycle.
I leave this morning and will be out there for two weeks? More? Who knows.
I hope you'll follow along as well, as this will be my first attempt at a live update blog style ride report. (I will be doing updates on Facebook and advrider.com . My name is Kevin Rozman for FB. )
So, join me as I set off from Ohio to the West Coast!
Let the adventure begin!

Trip thread
I am writing this from Denny's 6 miles away from Leguna Seca =)
Trying to keep updates up to date, but travelling and trying to cover ground as well as finding camping and food while tryin to find WIFI to update is a tricky thing to balance.
But i did get another bit up, pictures to follow.

Hey CarKid---- I"m not sure if you know, but just one week from now the massive Monterey Historics Week will be taking place. If you stick around the area for a few more days, you'll see some of the most valuable and amazing machines in the world. Not sure what your schedule is like---- but you are a week away from a bucket-list type series of events!
I will have to miss that unfortunately. Typing this, I am almost into Oregon. However, that woulda been a neat event for sure!
THANKS for the suggestion!
UPDATING THE THREAD TODAY**
Doesnt look like ill make sturgis. Currently in Idaho debating hittin Glacier National Park or not. Its a bit out of the way.
Well, i am sleeping under 20 miles away from the Glacier! Taking the Road to the Sun in the morning!

Lots of bikes and a nice ride on Skyline
Home now and finishing up all the updates!
Working through the second page of your adventure write up. Great job capturing all the human interactions along the way that make a trip awesome. Pictures and places are one thing but that is what really makes me want to keep reading.

Glad you made it back safely. Thanks for sharing a trip that others only dream about making. A trip like that teaches you that #1)-it's still a great country, with great people, despite what the news tells you #2) Realizing that you own capabilities can be limitless. #3- It's life changing!
Now, what do you think about doing the Scooter Cannonball in 2018?
Great job on the write up. Looks like a great way to see America.
Part of me would love to do a trip like that, though I would probably do it in a car. I don't think the Katana would be a good choice for cross country.
