I currently own a 84 Honda aero 80cc scooter, I have driven it for years and love it to death. The headlamp has recently burned out and the headlamp is no longer available. The lamp is a sealed beam deal, just wondering if the GRM community could possible come up with some used or OEM headlamp resource.
FYI 83 and 84 headlamps are the same 85 is different.

Don't recall if that lamp has steel back or glass back but figure out how to remove the bulb from the housing and find one with same filament location and height and epoxy it in heck you could go HID but to be honest they realy don't help if the housing is not designed for it.
I have toyed with this idea. Rather not hack up a part i can never find a replacment for. As of now the high beam works, so I guess I'll just roll with the the high beam till it blows, then game on for HID :(
The funny thing is I did email the owner of the add regarding the headlamp. No response, I'll probably call the poster tom.
I think these were sold in Europe and the European version might well have had a headlight with a replaceable bulb. Don't know for certain but sealed beam headlights are far less common in Europe so maybe it's time to hit up some European eBay sites.
