Sold my GS and picked up a K1200S.
It might be a tad quicker than my 2001 GS.

My 650 is fast enough for me, I can't imagine what almost twice the displacement is like!
I broke my bike yesterday. :(
There is a massive hesitation/flat spot ~3400-3800 RPM, even with the latest maps/firmware from BMW. So I bought a Power Commander V for it and was installing yesterday. The feed nipple for the fuel rail broke. I noticed a bunch of them for sale on ebay are broken at the same spot.
I did buy a used fuel rail (plus injectors and feed hose) for $38, but that means I'll have to commute in the car for a few days next week.
Sadness.
I had a PC V with auto tune on my k1200s. Definitely made a difference. I also had low restriction filters and a slip on.
