I am currently working on a motorcycle project, I have no pictures but I am going to be on the look out for a camera (anyone have an extra?) but I am trying to find some turnsignals that aren't too big, are 3-wire, and look good. It is going to be for a stripped down sportyish sort of bike. I know the cafe guys like to use the smallest things possible, but I would like something a little more visible for safety.
What have you guys used for your projects? Anyone got anything you might sell hidden in a box?
No help with the turn signal, I did find a small yet very bright LED tag light on E-Bay that I am 100% please with. Might want to bump around E-bay as I seem to remember quiet a selection of turn signal lamps.
I've used something like this before, available from Dennis Kirk.
Be careful though in going too small. My brother bought a Buell that a kid owned; he went for 1/8" diameter LEDs on top of the bars, the headlight looked like an alien's face and the brake light was just enough to be legal.
Safety First!

What's the bike you're building?

In reply to 914Driver: Well you are actually my inspiration, I am trying to a naked goldwing. Although its a 1978 so they were already pretty stripped to being with. The one I bought came with saddle bags and fairing added on though. The link you gave me is a bit pricey since I need four. I am thinking a turn signal that is several inches long and maybe an inch or two tall would be good.
I think I am going to go with the "Dark Wing" seat, but will try and make my own seat padding. I am also going to be trying painting for the first time with this project.
That wouldn't have been bad, decent price too. but I need/want three wire signals. These ones should be arriving today
I've used those before. They're pretty high quality units. They used to make some with a round lens in a bullet style that I really liked, but I can't find them anymore.
