My buddy bought a really nice Yamaha DS7 for 300 bucks or so. He just saw it sitting and made an offer. He looked for a bike all over the state and then found this one across the street from his dads house.

These are the best deals. I was just talking to someone in my FORTRAN class, apparently his grandfather has a garaged 49 chevy truck from texas that he doesn't drive anymore. I asked if I could buy it, but I know I can't afford it right now. Nonetheless, I doubt I would have been able to find that kind of thing any other way than just poking around here and there.
Found a 2007 Honda Rebel 250. Needs motor. 500$.
Im 6ft 3in 200lbs. However i had fun on the CB200 i had.
Worth buying? Maybe flip it?
Not with "needs motor" since you can find them for that running. Patience. Pick a particular bike and pursue it. Focus.
I've never had good luck finding rideable $500 bikes. I second the idea that $1000 seems to be a plateau for them. The only bikes I've bought for less than that ended up being a headache .. and at least one that I paid more than that for.
These look like they could be fun -

1984 Kawasaki KLX-R Enduro - $800 (North Royalton)
I have two bikes that I want to sell together. One is an 84 and the other is an 85 and they're both KLX-R 600's.
The 84 was running before I put it away, not in perfect condition, but ran well. When I took it out of storage, the fuel float level needs adjusted because it's bogging out at high RPM's and has trouble cold-starting.
The 85 has all the parts needed to put it together, but as of right now, it's sitting completely disassembled. Everything's included from the frame, to the sub frame, to the rims, to the wiring and the motor.
There is a title for the 84 but not the 85.

how much you willing to pay for the basket case.
this could work out well for us both. Especially since i go past columbus going to dayton fairly frequently....
How much would you sell it for?
Considering I would have to put it together, find some inevitably missing parts, and get a title, I would pay $200 or so. Unless you need a 1.6L Miata engine?
