Got 3 or 4 winter projects to do this winter.
74 Yamaha Mx250 Need to get put back to stock oil injection and exhaust.
Xr100 set up for Flat track and TT fun. Was "stuck" but a strap wrench on the fly wheel was able to break it free looks to have been swamped and never re-fired.
Time for big bore? Knife edge the crank? shave the head? HV oil pump? oil cooler? 17 inch rims are a must so need to find a couple Suz front wheels like off GSXR600 i believe.
another XR100 parts bike need to be torn down and rebuilt.
71 Yamaha ct1c near mint shape just 2200 miles on it but stuck....Cyl slid off but crank will not turn almost like bearing cage failed. Have to wait and see.
Whats on your list?
Currently building a mid 70's works mini racer look alike from an 81 XR 100 (longer swingarm/bigger wheels/more motor) with repro 74 XR 75 fenders, and side panels, DG down pipe, and tank from a 74 parts bike. I got to know one of the owners of Procycle when we were both building DRZ 125's, so I'll probably grab a 120 kit from him. Can't beat it for $279.
82 Can-am 175 will be getting new forks from a 250 (more travel) and orange fenders.
Swift GT, now that it's running the way I want, will finally get the interior finished. I'm not tired of driving it around with only a drivers seat, and no carpet, but I'm tired of answering why a 50 year old guy drives a kids car with no interior.
Actually get somewhere on my Yamaha CT3, work on my Spitfire, build our Challenge car and my autox for next year. Busy winter.
Painting the R-90, cleaning, not painting the frame.

Searching for an old Honda XL 350R (hopefully) or XL 250R. Three of my friends had them when we were in high school. I did not. It's time to rectify that situation.
There are better bikes out there, but this is what I want.
In reply to Woody:
Great bike... refresh, restore or ya gonna mod it? there was some cool build sites online if I could find em again. IIRC, a few were converted to strictly street duty... and were pretty damn trick. I have an '82 XL250 lurking in the back corner of my garage awaiting attention and my wallet.
keep us posted

Also... this book just showed up in the mail today:
Need to do a little work on my BMW (and find some parts for it), plus I need to make a couple of smaller changes to the ZRX (more comfortable seat and lower passenger footrests).
Other than that I've got a Miata to play with .

Paint this hideous thing another, single, color.
Unfortunately, the palette of neato colors in the Fusion line is a bit limited.

I have an 1989 one of these with bodywork still intact. I want to make it into one of these.
OK the picture wont work. What am I doing wrong?
Anyway its a Kawasaki Ninja 500R. I have an original owner 89 EX500. Its predecessor. Ive had it since new.Got the rolling platform set up to put the bike on. Just need to move some stuff and start working.

Hoping to have a 750 Katana into which I plan to stuff a GT750 with expansion chambers. We'll see if I can get the Kat free and clear past SWMBO....
I just picked up a shifter kart roller. I hope to put an 80cc-125cc 2 stroke on it by spring.
I'll be painting the inner fairing on my Road Glide, along with doing some gold leafing over the god-awful factory pinstripes.
Going to try to tackle some scrapes and bruises (that were already there) on F-i-L's '82 GL500 Silverwing. Anyone know a source for Honda paint?
Daughter is making noise about getting her a bike. We still have F-i-L's '81 CM400e in the garage, but he wants to sell it.
Then theres the Dream I've had for 20+ years....

Not much in the way of projects, just cleaning up the 'Wing and going through Mrs. Minis Majesty scooter....and accumulating parts and tubing to build my copy of Craig Vetters' Torpedo. Vetter built his based on a Harley, I'm going to be using a older Goldwing. If you don't know what it is, search his website@ Craig Vetter.com.

Maybe you can spray the plastic with Fusion, then paint over the fusion with something else. Kind of like using it as a primer/adhesion promoter. With all the plastic on cars these days, maybe a body shop supplier can fix you up with something good for plastic.
XS650: Mini Speedo, new lights everywhere, new wiring harness, slim seat, new tires.
Ride the XL500 into sloppy slushy areas I've no business riding.
Ride the SRV540 on snowy trails until my fingers freeze off.
And maybe, just maybe, do less entertaining things like sell the Virago, install wheel bearings, maybe sell the old CD175, things like that.
Get the carburetion on the XS straightened out, dammit, and get the 'lectric leg working. I found a 1974 XL250 that keeps whispering my name... then there's the start of the FI conversion for the Jensen Healey, a side effect of which may be an FI conversion of the XS using a a MicroSquirt. The Jensenator needs MUCH stiffer front springs, stickier tires and some more sorting. Then the LeMons car still needs some lovin', there's going to be a 'newsed' house of some sort at some point... dayumn, I gots a lot to do.

Picked up a roofing nail with the rear tire on my ride home from work on Saturday, so the bike's sitting until I have time to change the rear tire (screw paying a dealer $35 per wheel to mount it, kthnx). I should probably pull the battery at this point and put it on a tender.
I think I might start looking for a KE100 to play with this winter. Might also end up selling the WR250R for a street bike too, unsure yet.
Well heck if were going to put other projects in with winter bike projects then. theres install a rack in the 62 dart, finish body work, make an interior (have bare frames but need new foam and cloth.) Fix the ABS on the forester, re-wire the race car, paint race car, clean toy hauler inside and out track dust everywhere..
install new furnace in garage, Install white "bath room" 1/8 paneling on ceiling and walls in garage. (to briten the room)

I bought some of this primer today, and will try using a Duplicolor automotive type paint as a topcoat on some bike fenders. I'll report back.
