So a heater return hose cannot plug back in to where it's supposed to be because the plastic pipe it was plugged onto broke and exploded coolant everywhere. What part is this plastic pipe a part of so that I can replace it?

Been a while since I've looked at one of these in stock form. Not sure which variant yours is but I want to say it's part of the intake manifold assembly. You can see a similar port on the top right of this image:
Crap. Gotta replace the whole thing (apparently it's common for that plastic pipe to crack and break off)
Stuck between the Dorman and FRPP variants for replacement...

I went with FRPP for the replacement, but the Dorman one is a lot cheaper. Supposedly you may lose a few HP with the Dorman one.
Well, my dad went out and bought a supposed FRPP part but there's an issue - perhaps as an expert, you can explain why said broken section is blocked and/or missing:
