Got a dead battery and not in a rush to charge it. Look for a AC/DC power adapter, like from your old cordless phone, or anything with those black boxes for a plug. If you are lucky enough you can find a few old 12V ones. Cut off whatever end is on it, strip back the wires and finr out which is pos and neg. Add a few alligator clips and done. I've charged a dead car battery in a few days. You can use it as a simple battery tender as well.
