We also accept KPH, which your speedometer suggests might be possible.
And home. 16 hours and 1040 miles later. I'll write more later but what a fantastic travel companion.
Awesome pick up! Those elements are such a cool Swiss Army knife
I apparently missed your GSR thread the first time around so thanks for linking. Drooling on that one
So where to begin.
My first thought was rattles. Specifically the lack of them. I haven't been in a car this old with no noticeable rattles in a while. All the work Tom and the owner before him put into it are very noticeable. The rear seats are already in the basement. I don't see them coming out for awhile. I kind of had to chuckle on the rubber floor mats onto of the rubber floor.
Second thought is the seats. 1700 miles since yesterday morning and not a single ache. Perfect.
3rd thought is where ever Tom left his Air Pod, I can't find it. It's like an Easter egg hunt.
4th thought is I totally remember why I love buying cars from GRMers. 0 issues. Only thing I will be looking into is the rear light socket is a little wonky. I had to press it to get it to light. And that is it. Everything else was so much better than any $7K car I've bought. I mean the body and paint is appliance grade 17 y/o condition but it is a 17 y/o Honda appliance so I was expecting that.
5th thought is I guess having the aerodynamics of an Air Jordan makes for some crappy MPGs at 80+ MPH. My best was 22 MPG. But at least it swills the cheap stuff. I've had worse.
So what's next? A little carpentry to build a sleeping platform for the back. I already have the design downloaded. Oh and Drive it. This will give me the time to do some restoration work on the integra while I decide how far I go down the rabbit hole with the Integra.
I now have 2 200K+ mile honda products in the garage. Both of them I would trust to go wherever too. I've now done 10 hour+ days in each of them.
I wish the weather wasn't so crappy and I could have spent a little more time exploring but with the fog, it didn't make sense.
Oh and I scored 3 new GRM shirts for my collection so SCORE!

I'm just got to ignore that for right now. I know what a turbo K series can do and oh, this is the factory low compression motor so 8-10 PSI are easy on it. But...Not listening. Nope nope nope.
