What's this guy called and do they sell them? I can probably  have the local welding shop bend one but if I can order one easily from the comfort of my chair I'd honestly rather do that especially if I can get one in galvanized to last indefinitely on treated deck. I gather I could also make brake attachment for the press and run it through a foot at a time, but again pain in the butt factor vs time saved isn't worth it.

edit: referring to the little strip with a slight bend that holds the ends of the boards down to the frame. They're usually bolted through the wood to a frame member below

I've heard it called a beavertail, and it is usually made when the trailer itself is made as part of the frame.  I suppose one could be added though.

Sorry, i meant the little strip on top that has maybe a 7-8 degree bend in it that holds the wood down. They get beat up and bent when you're dragging wheel free cars up and off

I don't know if you can buy them premade.  I assume the break angle changes from brand to brand.  If you can't find one, it would be an easy job for a fab shop.  We used to do stuff like that for our local customers pretty frequently.  Galvanizing is a good option for corrosion protection, but it will warp that piece to hell and back.
