It's been a great tow beast & blank slate for many Powerstroke upgrades. Just don't have anything to tow now. It's surprisingly fast for it's size, I guess since there is a lot of fiberglass & aluminum. We tested it 0-90 with a new STI twice & it's faster on tune #7 & there is 1 more hotter tune & that was with the o.d. engaged so it was effectively a 3.07 rear. Without the o.d. it's 4.10. Mechanically is nearly perfect. Interior wise the headliner is sagging so I need to fix that.
The upgrades:

Revmax Stage 4 Triple disc Torque converter Deep extra cooling transmission pan
New glow plugs

I have no idea what it is worth, but I like this truck. I could be interested (but I suspect it is worth more than I could pay)
Does it seat 4?
Do you have any actual interior pics?
Bed/tool box pics?
Is it considered an e350 cutaway van?
What year?
It looks pretty cool but hard to throw out a value without better pics and a bit more information other than mods.
Rough guess $20k given the mods and how people are asking for so much money for 7.3 vans.

It could actually seat 5 but not a lot of leg room, except for the middle person.
The interior is the weak link. The extended cab is bare fiberglass & needs some finishing. Then the headliner & a couple tears on the dash vinyl. I need to find a way to fix those. It was a work, transport machine so we never addressed the interior except for replacing the power outlets, cold a/c, good stereo, adding the back seat & side tables with cup holders.
It is considered a cutaway/back cut. On the vin tag it says "Unfinished Vehicle". It was intended to be an ambulance. It still even has some of the rear a/c lines in the frame. I intended to remove but never did.
It's a late '97. The computer is actually a '98 code - LJP1
It was bought by a jet helicopter repair company in California. They built the toolboxes & the curved bed. Due to it being relatively lightweight, they could haul a jet engine & be under the weight limit without using a trailer. I wasn't happy about cutting a hole in the nice curved aluminum bed for the 5th wheel but had to be done. I also intended to make a cover but that didn't happen either. I was surprised that the holes were in the frame when I installed the F350 5th wheel hitch & air helper springs.
It's a blast to drive, besides the power, everywhere we go it gets a lot of attention & people want to know what it is.
$20K reserve. Write it up, take 150+ HD photos and send it to BAT.
Cool story about the 0-90. My '99 4X2 dually with just an exhaust, intake and tune runs surprisingly strong. It's 7300# empty. The 4.10 ratio just seems to match the 7.3 very well. That OD piece you have is a pricey unit. Did the math on it once and figured it'd take over a million miles to pay for itself so I passed

Ya I think I will at least submit it to BAT & see what they say. I ordered some headliner cloth w/foam & will redo it.
The o.d. unit was a weird timing thing. I read about them so just kept searching. Found this one with new seals but a bad motor. Found that a Four seasons 35521 -2 speed rearend motor is the same & the overtravel switch is the same also that is used in the 2 speeds. Use that boat trim switch to & some relays to switch it. I'll really miss it.
If BAT is a no go, I'd reach out to the guys at Ujoint Off-road over in NC.
They have a really strong market for unique vans, they could probably hook you up with a buyer pretty quickly.
