How to Organize a Restoration Project | Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite Project

As you disassemble a project, it’s easy to just start piling up parts in the corner of your workspace. After all, you might not need those pieces and parts until much later, right?

Let’s answer that question with a few other questions: How do you know what parts you have or are missing? If you have a system of parts that needs to be sent to a specialist, how do you ensure that the whole system makes it? How do you plan to reassemble the car when all the parts are in a pile in the corner?

Fret not, because you can follow along as we organize all the pieces and parts that came off of our 1960 Austin-Healey Sprite project, a process we’ve been following for virtually all of our project cars.

I am learning so many things with these videos that I wish I knew before starting the restoration on my Beetle.
