My brother his still looking for his "S". But he has a cap of $25 K. I suspect that's a bit low for you?
We held the headliner in place on the frame with clamps to position it properly.
Once finished, the two halves just press into place up in the roof of the Mini.
Our project Mini Cooper S has a rather strange headliner system. A metal frame has fabric stretched over it and glued in place. This whole frame is divided into front and rear halves and presses into place with clips that hold it onto a ridge built in to the roof.
Installation instructions came with the Mini Mania kit and we used a combination of new and old clips to install the headliner on to the frame.
Though strange, the headliner is not terribly difficult to install.
