Period-correct parts will help transform this dilapidated Cooper S into a concours winner.
This air cleaner and some appropriate hose clamps will do part of that job.
Our next trip was to DJ‘s Mini in Wesley Chapel, Florida. It’s an interesting home business, passionately run by long-time Mini enthusiast Dion Jardine. DJ’s is a treasure trove of used Mini parts and a great place to get service work done on your Mini.
We were in search of the correct Cooper S air cleaner and Dion had what we were looking for. We also sourced some original hose clamps. We were out to make this car concours-correct and these are the kinds of details that were going to matter.
