New shiny bits for the Mini have been assembled.
One of the first things we decided to rebuild on our Mini were the bumpers. Our original bumpers were mangled, almost beyond recognition, so we ordered new bumpers and Cooper S style over-riders from Mini Mania.
These bumpers are very nicely made, but like the originals, shockingly light. At less than 5 pounds each, they are merely decorations and won’t do much to help you in an accident.
Assembly is rather simple, as all the hardware and the rubber backing to protect the bumpers from the guards when you bolt them down, comes with the kit.
With these simple bumpers bolted together, it was time for the next task.
