We made it to the Going to the Sun Rally with no further incident. Today we drive another 225 miles back into Idaho.
The GM style pump kit from Borgeson fits perfectly and is hard to detect underneath our factory air. The GM-style pump provides uniform pressure and makes the Shelby steer like a new car.
Thanks to our buddy Jaime Nash in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, we got our power steering pump replaced while on the road. This Borgeson-supplied GM-style power steering kit for the Mustang makes an incredible difference. Like night and day, all our steering problems are solved. Wow, does this car drive great now.
We made it no problems to the Going to the Sun Rally and enjoyed our first day with no incidents. Driving down the “Better than Sex Highway” was an amazing experience. We ran hard and fast with Trans-Am Firebird and 3.8-liter Jaguar.
This event is a wonderful experience and we are so glad to be here with our Shelby.
