When we get to the point where we’re replacing small pieces of trim, simply because one part has a little better shine than the other, we get a little edgy.
We’ve been driving and enjoying our 1969 Volvo 142 for a few months now in a finished state. It runs great, stops great and can turn very well. We’ve even won a few autocrosses in it. It’s been in Classic Motorsports magazine twice, with two or three actual project car installments planned. It’s also been in Grassroots Motorsports once, with one additional article on the MegaSquirt installation in the works.
When we get to the point where we’re replacing small pieces of trim, simply because one part has a little better shine than the other, we get a little edgy. We like fixing things and frankly, there’s nothing wrong with this car.
