Reviving Our Innocenti Mini

The first step of getting the car to Carlisle: loading it up on our Trailer World trailer.

Yeah, the car sat for a little while.

If you see our rig on the way to Carlisle, wave.

Remember our poor 1971 Innocenti Mini Cooper? Sadly it’s been sitting for a while. Exactly how long, we probably shouldn’t admit. It has added some charm to our office’s lobby, but cars should be driven, not just admired.

First, do as we say, not as we do: Don’t let your classics sit.

Our Mini is on the move, though, as it’s hitching a ride to this weekend’s Carlisle Import & Kit Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Once there, it’s going home with Carl Heideman. The Mini is going to get some love at his shop, Eclectic Motorworks.

A little pre-sale spruce-up perhaps?

You know, we're not 100% sure what's in store for this one.

But, of course, if someone's really interested in buying it, drop me a line.
