The engine is on the way out.
The bare engine bay is super grimey.
Yesterday evening, we made progress on our 2002 by pulling the engine. We cut off the nose earlier in the project, so it made more sense to pull the engine from the top of the car instead of dropping the subframe. We believe that once we get the nose back on and the car painted, it’ll be easier to stuff in the engine through the bottom.
Next up, we’ll be removing the windows, stripping the engine bay, cleaning everything, and starting to cut out the rusty spots on the rockers.
