More Reassembly: 2002 Comes Together

Work Continues on our BMW 2002.

We're using wiring diagrams to make sure we've got all of the harness strung correctly.

The fuel tank has been installed and connected to the fuel and electrical system.

Boom Mat is adhesive backed tar and aluminum sheets that block and reduce noise. It makes a great replacement for the factory tar sheets.

We used extra Boom Mat in the front footwells to reduce noise from coming through from the engine compartment.

We spent some time in the garage over the past week, finishing up the wiring harness installation and getting the fuel tank squared away.

We also used Boom Mat insulating sheets to replace the factory tar melt sheets that we had to chisel up during the rust repair work. The Boom Mat (www.boommat.com) sheets are pre-cut and come in packs of 10 or more. We used 10 sheets on the floors and inside the doors of our BMW.
