Project 2002: Wrapping Up the Trim

We rolled the 2002 outside to give it a look-over before we rolled it back inside.

New door panels from BMW Classic Parts finish off the interior trim work.

A refinished Nardi steering wheel awaits a horn button.

Classic Tube offers pre-bent stainless steel brake lines.

The Classic Tube lines come already flared with new stainless fittings.

We've rolled the 2002 back inside, this time with the nose facing out as we get to work on the brakes and engine compartment.

Our 2002 has entered a new phase. We’ve finished up most of the interior and trim work and started work on the braking system.

Our 2002 has entered a new phase. We’ve finished up most of the interior and trim work and started work on the braking system. New door panels were installed, as well as a refinished Nardi steering wheel we found at a swap meet.

We’re replacing all of the steel hard lines with new stainless pieces from Classic Tube. The kits are very reasonably priced and are a simple way to run lines. They come pre-bent, crimped and flared with stainless steel fittings that will outlast the rest of the car.
