The doors are back off and we're firing up our sander.
We're paying particular attention to all the areas where we fixed rust and welded in new sections of metal.
We’re slowly getting our 2002 ready for paint. This past weekend, we again removed the doors from the car and sanded the door jams and inner A-pillars. We also sanded the doors from top to bottom.
Our next step is to paint the areas of exposed metalwork with a direct-to-metal primer. That’ll probably happen this weekend.
