Like many foam covered dashboards, ours is riddled with cracks. Some of these are quite large.
SEM plastic repair compound will be used to fuse and fill the cracks.
Our trusty Black and Decker Mouse gets another workout, sanding off the excess material.
We are investigating ways to repair our padded dashboard using modern plastic adhesives, flexible putties and other top-secret stuff. And do while saving a buck or two. Stay tuned to the pages of Classic Motorsports magazine for more on this cheap way to fix vintage dashboards.
