Porsche Parts

A Porsche in what some say is its natural habitat: a dirt road a few miles from civilization. This one wasn't exactly smooth, though.

New parts: Rennline's super-slick fire extinguisher mount.

Rennline's aluminum pedals and deal pedal are also quite nice.

Also soon to be installed: Turbo tie rods.

A few boxes of parts have arrived, including aluminum pedals and a fire extinguisher mount from Rennline. We don’t expect the car to catch fire, but we figure it’s good insurance.

The Porsche has been busy this last month. It has made multiple trips to Orlando, been seen at a few PCA functions, and endured a bone-jarring trip down a washboard road to visit the Princess Place Estate, a historic waterfront lodge located in Flagler County, Florida.

A few boxes of parts have arrived, including aluminum pedals and a fire extinguisher mount from Rennline. We don’t expect the car to catch fire, but we figure it’s good insurance.

We also had to carry a fire extinguisher during the Coker Tire Challenge—we simply threw a BC bottle into the trunk. We’re now paranoid that the moment we remove the bottle from the car, it will spontaneously explode. The Rennline mount is much sleeker.

Our Turbo tie rods also arrived. Speaking of suspensions, we’re working with Ground Control on plans for new dampers. If things go according to plan, we’ll unveil a neat setup shortly.
