Quack!

Our 911 now sports a fiberglass ducktail.

It looks good up close, too. The grille came from a 1974 car. We found it via the Pelican Parts message board.

Body Werks finished and mounted our duck tailtoday. It looks good, too; we dig the more vintage, less bulky look. In theory, the car will feel just as solid on the highway, too. The original Turbo tail produces good airflow numbers but, man, it was just too huge for our tastes.

The post-op care is relatively mild, as we just can’t wax the car for a month. We can admire it, though.

Carrera coupes without any spoilers USED to be my favourite configuration. But this may have changed my mind. Kudos -- it looks great.
