1972 Datsun 510 2dr

A four year project. All work was done by me except a new wind shield and headliner. Powered by an L20b w/SUs, bored .040, a reground cam for more torque, 5spd transmission, 200SX front struts shortened 3in, slotted rear cross member, Epsilon wheels found in a bone yard, and much more. Great fun, and a real attention getter.

I am old enough to remember how these 510s just tore things up back in the day. That is a beautiful example, my friend!

Thanks for the compliment. I am not only old enough to remember those times, but I was a District Manager for Nissan in the 70s when being in the car business was a lot of fun. This photo was taken on a recent trip from Oregon to the east coast.
