10

purchased 1986 as an ‘87 model by my dad, ‘conversioned’ in 87 by DMC in milwaukee. 302 windsor EFI with AOD tranny, 1/2 ton. currently sporting: -ford racing shorty headers -gibson 3” exhaust shortened to exit in front of rear tire and cat gutted -hypertech chip -ignition super coil -some ignition thing that doens’t work well -K&N filter -tranny oil cooler -air rear suspention to pump up for towing -something with the front brakes to prevent brake fade while towing -Oak wood everywhere -brown, less brown, and gold on brown paint job -american racing gold anodized aluminum 15” wheels -pinstriped brown interior fabric (pics later) -VCR! complete with massive 4” sort of color TV -MP3 player compatible head unit -heated seat on driver’s side -‘custom’ bright lights not pictured (4 sets of auto zone lights wired to relays to come on wiht brights so i have 10 beams out the front for only $80!) -BIG sway hitch, more than this thing needs -2 gas tanks totaling about 42 gallons, so you can have the range of a super hybrid, with the milage of a fat truck -timing tuned for premium 0-60 = 12.5 seconds -tow limit = used to tow 5000lbs but according to the manual 1800 lbs -125,000 miles -always starts in the winter -17-ish highway mpg if i drive slow with no A/C (yeah, like that’ll happen) -seats 7 legaly, 12+ with the window shades down -rear bed sleeps 2 ‘snugly’ -cooler holds 32 cans -wanted by all of my friends, who are also broke i think i covered it all… its more the memories than the actual van thats awesome
