1964 MG B

My MGB has a Ford 302 bored to 306. A modified C4 does the shifting and a Dana 44 with posi is supposed to plant the power. The front suspension needed quite a bit of work to allow the Ford to fit, even with a rear sump pan. I fabricated motor mounts, trans cross member, headers and the drive shaft. The front springs required a serious upgrade to handle the weight and polyurethane bushings replaced the old stock ones. The rear springs were rebuilt with more leaves and poly bushings too. I had S&W race cars in Spring City, Pa bend 2 hoops and I notched supports and welded it all up. The wireing harness was replaced with an aftermarket one. Although it’s tagged and on the road the car is never finished. Now it’s getting aluminum GT-40 heads to take a little weight off the nose and larger wheels and tires to try to get some traction. That requires more room in the wheel well so I’m cutting into the fenders and welding flares all the way around. Time to paint it again.
