Decent driver with two small lower front fender rust spots and a factory hardtop that need help! Over all a good driver, Not a chrome bumper but in the land of SUV’s and electrics, I’ll take it! This is number 6 after 2 MK 2 “A’s” and 3 “B’s”. Getting new wheel cylinders and brake lines to each corner. Not fun along Routes 3 and 46 in Northern New Jersey !!! Exciting !!! Now after getting it home in July of 22 with about 20% brakes, I have done or had done a litany of things; front bushings (MGC) brakes f/r with slotted and drilled rotors, engine mounts, gas tank, Weber downdraft and exhaust sans CAT . Now I don’t have to say a novena before each drive. Those drives a now a pleasure! Just a follow up to Grahams journey. All of the emissions pieces now reside in a New Jersey landfill aka Mount Trashmore somewhere here in the Garden State. I may be casting a voodoo spell on it, but with the changes, it runs very well. Pretty soon it will be time to wrestle the top up for the season.
