2003 Panoz GTS-WC

My car is 2003 Panoz GTS-WC which was built for the Panoz Women’s Challenge race series, featuring top female drivers like Lynn St James, Davina Galica (F1 driver) and Katherine Legge (only woman to lead an ALMS race). The cars were identically prepared (think IROC) and assigned to the driver by drawing a number from a hat. The original cars were powered by 400HP Ford small blocks with a Tremec, but my car has been upgraded to an LSX (420 HP or 535 HP, depending on the tune) with a Jerico 4-speed. The original cars wore 16x9 wheels, but mine uses 18x10. I have made minor upgrades for safety and convenience, such as an ISP containment seat and rewiring the car. In Feb 2021, my instructor and friend, spun the car into T4 at Barber, doing significant body and front suspension damage. I have repaired the suspension, made the improvements mentioned earlier and acquired new quarter panels and a front bumper from Panoz. I am learning fiberglass repair so that I can retain the original bonnet, a spare bonnet and repair previous damage to the rockers and A-pillars. This process is VERY slow. After body repairs are complete, I will wrap the car in Satin Black vinyl. Look for the Panoz to return to the track in Oct or Nov, 2022.
