1971 Dodge Coronet

Similar to my first car (a ‘72 Coronet), decided I wanted a “do over” with an extra 40+ years of racing and wrenching knowledge. Purchased from a local wrecking yard in Aug ‘23. Current mods: Suspension: Large F&R sway bars (it had none stock), larger torsion bars, stiffer rear springs, Bilstein dampers, forged/adjustable front upper arms, Borgeson steering box. Brakes: Factory later model discs in front, currently stock drums in back. Rear discs will get installed when I go through the rear axle. Chassis: Subframe connectors in the future Drivetrain: Currently the original 318 2V with its amazing 155hp, 1998 5.2 Magnum build in progress. 5.7 Hemi on deck in case the 5.2 isn’t entertaining enough. Tremec TKX 5 speed swap (from the 904 automatic) in progress currently. Interior: a mess… with Corbeau GTS seats. Wheels/Tires: Currently OEM 18” 5 spoke 2010 Dodge Challenger (with 114.3mm to 115mm spacer/adapters) and 245/40-18 Yokohama tires. Eventual plans after getting everything dialed in is 18x10 wheels with 275’s all around.
