I purchased this smart 451 coupe in July of 2008. The first thing I added was a Doug Thorley Cat-back dual tip center exit exhaust. It sounds great and adds a little improvement in performance. A MisterDotCom cruise control was next, along with a factory 6 disc CD changer, Garmin GPS, and a ScanMasterII computer display. I then added the satin black Genius 17 inch wheels and Yokomo tires in May 09. The Doug Thorley exhaust cracked and I replaced it with another system from Solo Performance. It sounds a little different, but I didn’t feel any difference in performance. I’m getting ready to add a 10” wide black racing stripe front and rear. I just started trying to remove the badge and name emblems. Dental floss works great to carefully cut through the factory adhesive foam. But I’m still having trouble removing the left over adhesive tape without damaging the plastic body panels. Any suggestions?
